GIVI MACHAVARIANI

Givi is the head architect of CityLoft, the inhouse architecture office of Adjara Group. His expansive architecture portfolio includes Rooms Hotel Tbilisi, Stamba Hotel, the Georgian Botanical Institute and Herbarium, as well as infrastructure rehabilitation projects for Lagodekhi and Vashlovani National Parks. Additionally, he is the founder of Locomotive Promotion, a music promotion company focused on developing the Alternative Rock music scene in Georgia.

THOMAS IBRAHIM

Initiator of INHABIT Tbilisi project, former co-organizer of the inaugural Tbilisi Architecture Biennial, and an architectural designer with Opera Publica [eCV]. BSD in Architecture from Arizona State University. MSc Architecture student at TU Delft.

KATJA PETROWSKAJA

Born in Kiev, studied literature and semiotics in Tartu (Estland), PhD in Russian Literature (Moscow State University of the Humanities). Writer, columnist of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Germany). Lives between Berlin, Kiev and Tbilisi.

LASHA SHARTAVA

Born in Tbilisi, Lasha holds an MA in Architecture from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. He has attended various educational programs regarding historical building conservation, including ICCROM Wood conservation course in Oslo, Norway, in 2016. Since 2007, he is working as an Architect and Conservation Architect on numerous projects including research and field surveying, planning, consultancy, and supervision of construction works.

GIO SUMBADZE

A multimedia artist working with photography, video installations and graphic design. His artworks focus on architecture and structure of nature, as well as on architectural planning as it relates to nature. Sumbadze has participated in local and international exhibitions in Europe and in the US. In 2013, he represented Georgia at the 55th Venice Art Biennale with the “Kamikadze Loggia” project inspired by informal architectural adaptations in Tbilisi. He is a member of an artistic group GOSLAB.

MARTYNAS KILIUS

Junior Architect from Lithuania, with experience working in Lithuania, The Netherlands, and Slovakia. BSc Architecture from KTU. MSc Architecture student at TU Delft.

FRANCESCA CROTTI

Junior Architect from Lombardy, Italy with working experience in Milan and Lisbon. BSc completed at Politecnico di Milano. MSc Architecture student at TU Delft.

LUKA GUDUSHAURI

10 years of working experience on Architectural and Construction projects. Successful Construction Project Manager with strong background in planning, budgeting, and executing diverse projects. He's been managing International projects like 5 Star Hilton Tbilisi construction and Poti Seaport Rehabilitation-Dredging. BSD in Architecture from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.

DATO SHABURISHVILI

Experienced Architect, who has worked on various local architectural and restoration projects. He has a rich experience in blacksmithing and carpentry. Dato is a co-founder of “Waterlink Corporation” which actively delivers architectural projects. Also, the co-founder of “Armazi Distillery” which produces the Georgian Chacha. Dato has a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Georgian Technical University.
